Corner Room, London

Within an old, quiet hotel in Bethnal Green sits Corner Room, the area now a glow to old east London. Here you can come across this exquisite corner offering pure and precise modern European flavours. In a gently lit space, with some overhanging light bulbs and a ladder leading to nowhere, the restaurant serves adequate sized plates allowing you to yearn for the next. Playful word combinations let your palette explore itself; golden beets, scorched beef heart, fermented clementine. The Pork “cheek + tongue” met the expectation of the name. Coffee and blood orange cake, accompanied by some enticing ice cream left an elaborate aura clinging to my mind - a tender finale to an evening.
