Dôme Sur Mer, Antwerp

The sky greys as I walk down a street of old houses each having its character, the sound of the train passses by above me, rain slowly began to show itself as I was greeted by what looked like a very large round house. A friendly gesture then I entered a dim room with an exquisite ceiling fitting the fun exterior, beneath are more than a few square violet tables, somewhat a mesmerising colour with a slight modern melancholia, the perfect juxtaposition with my frogs legs served on round china. Pear, fish, ditsy dips - the flavours all dancing to the sound of the rain. Tonight’s menu thoughtfully planned for each flavour to compliment the colour and elements in the dome - a romantic finishing.
